The white is stark and compelling---almost a cream white. And we get to see the lace work, and other beautiful woodwork of these facades. And the "curtains" of slats, a kind of upside down trellis. You gave us a lot of the detail in a long shot; and I love your capture of the bird in front, kind of surveying the whole thing. (That is a real goose, I assume: It's not wooden, right? It looks real.) Looks like the places you visited were filled with potential shots. It's nice you could get a clear shot of the exterior, given all the growth around it. Nice light and shadow throughout too. I hope there's more from this trip, your eye seems perfect for these climes...

What a great house! I'm not usually enamored of Victorians, but this one is delightful! I feel like I might be able to live in it without feeling oppressed by the weight of the house around me. (Love the bird, too. Nice!) :)
