My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

That's some highly polished wood there.

I love how the detail emerges from the darkness. And those two luminous eyes are haunting...

This series of three is very intimate and tender, and you also got a lot of variety among them. This feels very much like an intimate space, an "interior" in the deepest sense of the word. The light (or two eyes, as Claude calls them) are bleached and intense, and certainly speak of a very bright world out there. But the dark around them---your postwork is right on here---makes them feel like they're pouring into a very private chamber. And the stairs are sunken in even more 'privacy', with beautiful touches of light on them. A quiet symphony of greens, whites and deep browns, feeling like a chamber for reflection far away from the world. It makes me think of Emily Dickinson's poetry---private, intimate, and deep. Beautiful vision, Tara.
