Terrific, Andrea. The flickr shot is, too---what a pair---because you surrounded it withg all that black, and the flower winds up looking like a big puff-pastry or a wild woman's hat, I love how you isolated it. Here, you closed-in and got that close-up high-power that artists like Georgia O'keeffe loved to paint. (I'm not suggesting that you're emulating her or even influenced by her: You don't need to be as you have your own vision. But she comes to mind when I see flower closeups like this.) These flower closeups that you're doing---they really are powerful, revealing just how much power is contained in a flower. A big orange burst of power---wonderful work, Andrea. There's a little cosmos in there...
