Mark, there is literally so much going on in this image that one barely knows where to begin. First of all let me tell you how much I love the family setting here, as well as the statues of the children seated nearby. One might guess that the kids may have lost something in the leaves while playing earlier, as the adults seem intent on finding it while the girls have obviously moved on to bigger and better things. Speaking of the young ladies, they really are adorable. I'm assuming the one seated facing you was having a birthday as she is proudly wearing her little crown. They really do appear to have everything a little kid could want, including that little Dalmatian toy pup. What ever their having to eat looks tasty, and they seem to have a lot more in the red bag across the way. I'm assuming that's someone's little Sister in the stroller whom is a bit too young and missing out on the fun. I'm assuming it's a girl in there because of the soft colors of the blanket draped over the carriage to keep her warm. Finally let me point out how much the leaves added to the beauty of the image. (I know, they make it a lot harder for the adults here to find what ever it si that is lost. lol)

Superb brilliantly lit stark contrast and backlighting, hence generating quasi silhouetting, in another one of your family scenes, Mark, this time at the park. Just how many kids do they have? Oops, just felt another low intensity aftershock. Swing and sway with Sammy Kaye. Oh well, say la vee. The adults appear to be looking for something on the ground. Could be anything. They sure have enough equipment in tow.

I wonder if she's looking for the child from the stroller? "I just saw her, maybe she crawled off under these leaves..." And how fortunate you were to stumble upon two princesses at table, eating puff pastries and drinking honeysuckle nectar; that doesn't just happen to anyone, you know! Marvelous scene and capture, and I hope she found her baby!

It's the little girl in the tiara that just grabs me. One of the latest fashions for girls her age seems to be tutus; I saw one sweet little girl the other day who just touched me. She was wearing a pink tutu, striped t-shirt, flower print leggins and lime green rubber boots. My kind of girl!! I love these little pieces you catch; they're so real and just so much fun!!

What an engaging shot! Full view is a revelation. I like how you postworked different parts of the picture in different ways, running your brush around and separating the stories from each other via softness and focus. Clearly the adults have a different agenda from the children, and to those children, what's going on around them is just a blur. Their tea party is everything. LOVE the tiara! This is delightful, on so many levels.

Think you could sit like that little girl with the orange/pink top? Your title is most fitting for this sandy/leafy beach scene. The intent action. The mystery of it all. The detachment of the little girls. You've captured a great story in a single photo. Now each of us can apply our own story thanks to your wonderful photographic presentation.

It seems silent, even though it cannot have been so. One of those frozen moments when only one protagonist is active, the searcher A photographic coup to start with, and then, perfected by your post working, it becomes a multitude of stories.

Nothing more fun than a tea party, or picnic, in the park, especially when you are a little princess. Really sweet photo that brings back wonderful memories.

This is such a fun image! A moment captured of joy and contentment. There is so much going on and yet it is a relaxed, laid back sort of activity. Even the adults in their search, don't look too bothered. Perhaps they were looking for acorns or pretty leaves. Either their searching styles were different, or the one on the left had spotted something. If they were looking for something more critical, I hope they found it. It looks like too idyllic a day to be spoiled by mishaps. Wonderful trio at the table. One is barely seen, though by her position, I think she is watching the adults. Another also watches, but seems more to have glanced their direction and will soon lose interest. I love her disheveled hair, lit up in the sunshine. The princess seems much more interested in her pastry. She studies it like one who has discovered cream where she expected jelly. She doesn't look particularly concerned, just interested. Beautiful composition, lighting, and crop. The concrete, post, steps, and iron fence place it firmly in the city, but the leaves and trees show the presence of nature, covering the man-made surfaces. I love the leaves caught in the branches of the evergreen like ornaments on a Christmas tree. I also love the statue, a reflection of the group at the table. You capture these moments flawlessly. Wonderful image!
