Description

Another Lake shot-- this time about "suds" that form when waves hit the shore. (More blur due to shake--sorry!) Please zoom and scroll (it's long) Have a fine day! Mark

A beautiful & dynamic abstract that reminds me of the "Irish Beer" you posted recently. This is powerful visual poetry that captures the movement of water so eloquently & vividly. So powerful that it's hard to believe it's a lake & not an ocean. I would love to see this blown up to the size of a wall...

Fabulous! I want to be in there in my mind, but it would probably be a huge mistake. Terrific photo, Mark!

I've always liked suds - whether on top of a beer, in a bubble bath, or on the waves. The colors and shapes and textures are infinitely fascinating and varied. A grand shot of light, frothy beauty in motion.

Mark, as always you seem to know just which photograph to share with us at just the right time. The beautiful capture of the waves hitting the shore and creating suds has such a peaceful and soothing effect, and was just what the doctor ordered today.

I also zoomed in on this outstanding photo to take advantage of the frothy textures, washing machine style, created by the crashing waves, Mark. I didn't know that a lake, no matter how large, could generate such impact on the water. I believed only the massive seas and oceans had that privilege. In any case, stellar contrast, lighting effects and composition in this image.

WOW! It almost makes me want to be there and feel it, but I know better. Beauty is not all; and this is certainly beautiful. A really crispy and dramatic scenery and the colors are simply awesome. Such a lovely photo, Mark :-)))

I will always love the power/strength of the ocean (lake?) which it creates - magnificent image, so unbelievably simple - but speaks volumes to me, yes, I am the original beach babe, well one can dream ? a walk on the beach carries all my problems away and leaves me absolutely refreshed - that is an impact OK ! (hard for me to believe it's a lake ? never-the-less, just as cool as an ocean, because I am surrounded by it ;) BB
