Description


This is the plain form of the Brown-lipped Banded Snail, Cepaea nemoralis. The leaf is Guelder-rose, Viburnum opulis. See the striped version of this common species Here

The garden where i previously lived was running alive with the striped shell variety when first moved in, avoided using slug pellets, just went out after dark with a torch and bucket and caught them. I could have started up a snail export business to France!. These are two excellent shots, I think I may have one in my gallery.. not sure which species.
