Description
The kids have made it to 8 weeks here. They seem to be much more ready for more action than the others have in the past few years. I guess they are waiting on the entertainment like I provided in past years......I wonder if the ones from previous years tell stories about the time they got to laugh at the stupid human? (Note the past post titled just that).

They seem so mature here, but I bet they're ready to raise ruckus if mom and dad would let them! And, as in earlier years, they are of course curious about you. "What's that strange critter doing with that weird eye it keeps putting into and taking out of its face." I often wonder what they think and what they feel. This morning I had a big raven fly at me from behind just above my head: Ooh, my! What a surprise and almost a bit frightening. There's a group that lives in the trees near my bus stop. They probably recognize me, and this one was probably a bit curious. Bird brain!? Forget it! They're very smart! And so is Kitty. She's scratching at the kitchen door. She hears me typing - that means computer is on, meaning moving things on the screen, meaning fun and curiosity. And I have to eat soon. So, do I let her in, or not? Decisions, decisions, after a hard week, too! :-)
