Description
Those of you who know Dave (magnus073) know that he's one of the most loving, giving members of this community. Recently, Dave's father has been battling for his life, and it's been up and down for weeks. And now Dave's niece has fallen ill, and is in the hospital as well.
A friend wrote to me last night, that Dave must be the pillar of his family now, making sure that everyone else is taken care of, dealing with his own pain while helping shoulder the pain of others..."Dave is a very giving person," she wrote. She couldn't have said it better if she tried...
Let me offer this to a man who's come to so many galleries here, long after he stopped posting himself;
who's given so much love here no matter what he was going through himself;
who's taken on the burdens of people he barely knew here---all true---writing to them, helping them and helping those they loved;
and above all who's done so much for his loved ones at home, who even goes into rubble after storms to pull out the suffering and get them to safety---this is all real, he does all these things, without putting one ounce of attention on himself. And I want him to know that we are with him now, and send our love for him and his loved ones, for his ailing father and niece.
My image is about healing in the midst of turmoil...and that light is for you, brother. But it's also a reflection of your light, which many of us have received: May it shine on you now, and on your father and niece, in their time of need, and on all your loved ones too.
Healing and peace and love to all of you, my friend,
deep blessings, mark
(I'll return to comments soon, and missed birthdays etc. I just need a little more time...)

I couldn't agree more. Dave is one of the most generous and giving people on R'osity. I'm so sorry to hear his family members are ill, and will send out healing thoughts and prayers. And I'm sure he will adore this energy and love-filled healing artwork you created, Mark, as well as your beautiful dedication, that truly came straight from you heart.

Not much more I can add to your deeply felt narrative, and to the thoughtful comments registered above in re Dave and his loving giving nature, Mark. He has been a constant regular on my gallery with his encouraging comments. Most sorry to read of his burdensome plight and of those of his father and niece. Just more testimony to the fact that life is not fair when it comes to the toils and troubles of those who deserve better. Oh, and mustn't forget your outstanding colorful, fractal-like rendering in this dedication.

Chaos (circle), pain (red), healing (blue) overcoming pain...with peace and light beyond chaos. Well, that's my interpretation anyway. Your colors are so vibrant. I see your shapes and forms so full of the struggle for life. I see healing effectively dousing the fires of hell. A great piece my friend. I know Dave only through his name and avatar but I've read enough of his comments over time to get a sense of Dave the person. Your dedi is spot on. Dave we are with you. Peace and Light to you from me too.

I had no idea that Dave was so ill. He's been so giving here on RR; his comments are always positive and wonderful. This image is so evocative; simply glows with all the deep feelings that come with such trouble. But there's also the sense of hope and that's what makes it even better. My hope is for healing for Dave. Thank you for creating this for him and sharing it with us.

Mark, allow me to be perfectly honest and say that I held off commenting on this lovely dedication until last. That is because I knew it was going to be an emotional struggle to get through it, as I am searching for the right words to express my feelings at this moment. Thank you for the amazing image you created, I can literally feel I healing light shining forth from it. I'm far from deserving of your words of praise, but I am extremely grateful and moved by them. The people in this gallery are more than friends, in fact I consider most of them to be like family. That is why I continue to visit their galleries even though I'm not able to post images myself. All that I ask is that my dear friends please continue to keep my father as well as my niece Jaylinn in their prayers. This is one of those periods in time so many families face with fear and dread. While searching for something positive to take from it what I can say is this has drawn my family much closer together then we have been in a long time. Catastrophic circumstances like this can force one to stop being a part of the world around them and appreciate those who love them most importantly I know in my heart God has carried us this far down this difficult road and I put my trust in him to carry us the rest of the way. As I look up with tears in my eyes I see another sign of God's little miracles. That is this beautiful dedication that you created happens to be your 500th upload. Congratulations on that and thank you for being like a real brother to me.
