How green was my valley.
Continuing my trek around the Gardens.
Captured back on 6/28/09, at the beautiful Earl Burns Miller Japanese Garden, located on the north campus of beautiful California State University Long Beach, in Long Beach, California.

Yes, with Rob and others, beautiful and stunning. I know you had to finesse these shots due to the lighting; but finessing rarely gives such clarity in the water and its reflections, and, here, the pads are almost floating on air, and their shadows seem to come out of air too. Clarity everywhere. Crystalline. And clarity, too, on the bottom of the pond, and framed by the beautiful trees and bushes. A beautiful shot in this series, and the water portion is magical through and through. (I still can't get over the name "EBM/CSULB"---it sounds like the name of a 60's mainframe computer! Like "Hal," from 2001. I'm always surprised that it's this beautiful garden.)
