Description
Looking west, I really like the contrast and perspective effects in this photo, captured from the confines of a local gas/petrol station.
The big cloud at the foreground left appears to be rocket propelled.
Please ZOOM.

Blue and white is a dynamite combination, Harry, and you got this in spades. What a lovely sky capture!

Terrific colours, and the splash of orange adds to it.

In addition to my server and my own computer problems, RR is having problems as well---I left a comment on this, and when I went to post it, the page came back "can't load this page now". But every other site I tried was fine. It happened again on my iPad; and then again on another older computer, this time attached to a 4-G network. RR is having problems. So this comment has been lost 3 times! Well, I'll try it one more time, and see if I can get the same points (I should have copied it). Two big beautiful clouds up there, with a lot of others floating behind and around. And yes, the left one does look like it's propelled; it also could be a frog with its back legs extended. Wonderful capture. And in this piece, the grounding comes in the form of a gas station top, some flags, and a truck: A fascinating collection to 'ground' the piece; and the colors set off the heavy blues and whites above. Very well seen and captured, you have to have a keen eye to find these collections in the sky. And you're getting many fine gradations in the whites, off-whites and grays in those clouds, too: Lots of textures on board. Another fine cloud capture in this series. (Now let's see if this comment posts!)
