Description
Every cloud has a silver lining.
Captured 5/20/14, early in the AM, in and around the neighborhood.
After the horrendous heat wave we experienced here during the middle of the month, May has returned with its more normal cool temperatures and spectacular and rainless cloud formations.

I love the lines of light behind the cloud, what a lovely capture! The blue of the sky is a wonderful setting for these teasing clouds. At least you get a little shade from them, if no rain. Our rain is moving in again tomorrow.

This was around when my ebots went out---I got yours, but didn't get a number others; and mine didn't go out to everyone either. (Thanks for the suggestion about the bubble next to the sitemail icon: I never knew that was there before! I keep URLs for everyone's galleries that I see, and I just look at the gallery pages to be sure I didn't miss anything, when ebots go awry; but thanks for the suggestion. It's very good to know about that.) Anyway, that should explain the small number of comments on this. But the clouds are very dramatic, as is the light behind them. And here you have rays as well---always a nice addition to cloud shots. And no buildings or trees below! Just pure clouds this time. It fits for this kind of drama. Very dramatic shots, and another deep blue sky from you. Sorry they're not bearing great rain. (And btw, your May has been the opposite of ours---ours was quite cold until about a week ago. Even now, it's not very warm.) You have a real eye for these clouds. I hope they come by with real rain this summer.
