Description
Ok. I sit here and watch the 2D artists in my gallery upload beautiful drawings, paintings, doodles, you name it. And I think: I haven't produced a new 2D work in ages! "It's time, Mark," I think. "Time to get moving!"
So last night, I pulled out my old Animal Anatomy book---we used it years ago to draw animals---and I drew a tiger. I really drew.
Whooooooaaaaaa, was I outa shape! One tiger threatened lawsuits. One said "I wept". Two Bengals got a court order to keep me out of
Bengal "indefinitely".
It wasn't pretty.
So I went to Artrage. 6 minutes with a mouse. A Zen drawing! Whoosh, whoosh, nothing more.
I meant well. The tail, in all fairness, is the epitome of finesse. And the Savannah? Drawn with great accuracy. Please zoom, for the linework alone. They say it's like "getting back on a bicycle": Trust me. Not even close. Oh, and I don't think you'll be praising my "quickness" this time.
More like, "it took you that long???"
Still commenting---will get to you all!!!
Have a fine sunday,
Mark

I'm worried about the tail. Are there electrical outlets in the Savannah? Ouch! Hey, Mark, I think your tiger has a lot of charm and very loooooooooooooooooong whiskers. Nothin's gonna' sneak up on him. Unless, of course, he backs up into an outlet. :o) Great fun, my friend. You gave me a good laugh.

I LOVE your cartooning style! This is such fun, and the tiger looks astonished to be there! The fact that you can get "astonished" in so few lines is pretty remarkable. :)

Seems this tiger has grown up wearing a corset...lol. Character, personality (tigerality?), emotions...this cat has it all in but a very few lines!

My goodness, what long whiskers you have, Mr Tiger. To begin with, I was initially startled, before I evoked a LOL, when I first came upon this masterpiece, Mark. The sight of the serrated tail alone would be enough to keep any potential foe at bay. One more beauty to add to your list of accomplishments. Eat your heart out, Picasso! Your quick deft strokes in this superb composition reflect the many years of training and work you have applied in the genre of art. Bravo!

Too funny. The tail is all springy like Tigger's.

Mark, there was no way I was leaving your gallery without commenting in this fun work of art. As always you observed the most important rule, and that is make sure everyone leaves your gallery with a smile. I personally like the little guy and got a big kick from your commentary.

Dang, he got all confused; his whiskers are straight and his tail is crooked, poor guy. But I love him and this is SO you. It was these kinds of drawings that first drew me to your gallery; keep em coming!!

How did I not get the bot for this? When I get so frickin many every other day? You make fun of this drawing, but to me you've got the tiger silliness down pat, in just a few lines. And they ARE silly, I've spent a lot of time watching them; you see them for a few minutes and you think majestic, powerful, predator...but spend a longer time and you'll see they're just as funny as watching your housecat lift his back leg for a wash and falling off the back of the sofa. They make silly faces, they do stupid things and then get that "oh jeeze, I hope no one saw that!" look...it's just a whole lot bigger, and therefore a whole lot funnier. The one ear up, one ear down thing is them, as is the pseudo-astonished look, and the clumsy bent tail...they do all that, and more. You got it, brother, no doubt!
