Description

Anyone remember this wilderness hike out to Cottonwood cove? After a couple attempts to get up atop that massive amphitheater (to no avail). I realized how late in the day it was getting to be and in this wilderness they do not allow camping. So began the exodus out of the south Coyote Buttes. Am about half way to the top of this mesa, to the right on the opposing side of the wash is the amphitheater. The pattern in the sandstone (lower left), looks as if an alien is watching me. :~) Hope all had a great weekend! Fantastic! I love your photos. I've dropped 85 pounds (6 stone) and hike on a regular basis, now. It's just a matter of time before I make it out that way. I can't wait.
