My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

What a shot! Yep. Snazzy, distinguished, elegant, photogenic! This is a great shot, and what a cool occasion too! Congratulations to Trent and David ( I don't know them up close and personal, but I can say that their names sound so nice together.) This is a super shot: feel free to tell them that Chip in Chicago says congratulations (in Czech/Russian) even, only I can't spell "Congratulations" in Czech or Russian without consulting my dictionaries or translate.google, which only gives the super-formal renditions of the sentiment, which isn't all that bad, but too much formality makes my elbows all twitchy.

He looks great. Nice candid of him. :)

He looks rather dapper. Nice shot Tara.

For Chip: Congratulations in Czech is: "gratuluji". And in Russian, it's: "Pozdravlyayu". Or, if you wanna be a showoff: "Поздравляю". (I looked 'm up. Ya think I knew these things???) Just a lovely shot, Tara...Bill's like a movie star, with that face. And such a gentle demeanor and gaze. And with his 5D MKIII---a camera fit for him. I looked at his coat---does it have touches of purple in it? It looks like it does. Purple and blue? (It looks like alternating purple and blue stripes.) Well he's wearing a really nice purple-ish tie, which would match the purple in his coat, if I were right. (It's a nice tie, either way. Real art goes into fine ties. They're fine fabric folded into that little shape.) We don't see his feet, but it'd be great if he were wearing those day-glo sneakers you see so much these days. (Classy addition!) A very thoughtful shot, and reflective and kind. And his head is lined-up with the black frame behind him---nice touch. This is a delight: I'm so glad you posted this, because we don't get to see much of either of you, in your galleries. This is beautiful.

Scrubs up well dunee? Nice shot

A nice shot of Bill, whose friendly & gentle character shines through no matter what he's wearing. Not especially fond of how his feet are cut off (maybe it was a limitation of the space you had to work in?), but I guess it could have been worse (if you had lopped of his head)...
auntietk
Yeah, I would have liked his feet in the shot, too. I was grabbing shots of him from WAY across the room, and got four shots before somebody walked in front of me. His feet only show in the last one, so I guess it took me that long to adjust my angle. I didn't think to clone him some feet! That would have been a good idea. :)

Wow, I am honored...glad you don't mind me in a suit...my mom would have been proud:-)

Wooeee! What a fine looking figure of a man you got there, Tara! He does clean up well. Great portrait of the man in your life!

Superb capture Tara. God bless.
durleybeachbum
He looks really wonderful, and indeed he may be one of the miniscule number of men I might just possible trust in a suit. I think the syntax of that sentence is suspect, but you get my meaning!
RodS
And what a dapper looking gentleman he is! As photosynthesis says, his warm. friendly and gentle personality is evident no matter the outside covering... I have to admit, he looks quite the pro photographer here! A stellar shot of a stellar fellow, Tara!
CavalierLady

A totally different man, dear Tara. I did recognize Bill of thumbnail, but when I opened the picture, I did not believe my eyes, and I really doubted. Luckily I was good, in the first place it is a respectful picture, but before that, first and foremost, I would like to, you had a wedding every week, or at least, once a month, so you saw this 'showman', and whopper a little more often, Tara. Anyway, if I were you, I would quickly make a number of dates with this handsome fellow, before his agenda is fully booked.
