My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

Nicely done Tara, not easy to get a balanced exposure of shadows and highlights.

Love the framing! Beautifully shot. It gets confusing, all the "San"s...why is the mission San Jose in San Antonio and not San Jose? My mind boggles.

It's depressing that this only has 3 full views: It sounds middling, but it's actually not, as the image blooms in zoom. (All images do, because the display version is always 72 dpi, no matter what size; whereas the zoomed is the resolution that the photographer wanted.) The higher resolution has more depth of hue, more detail, more sharpness, and more light; and the zoomed is just better. It's what the artist intended---at least within the 512KB limit. I'm not complaining about the above people, because we all forget. But we should all zoom when we think of it, and this image is a great example of why...That aside, the textures here are very deep, and the light and dark contrasts are wonderful. Another abstract from you that's filled with real life. The dome back there is splendid inside that opening. And the overhead beam---in front---is wonderful contrast. And you have real deep reds here too, filled with mystery. It's a wonderful extract of architectural forms, interlacing, interacting and bringing out each other's light. A beautiful piece, Tara, with mysteries, contrasts, and real lushness. Not a word one often associates with stone and brick, but it applies here in spades. Wonderful.
