Description
This is what we had at Rock restaurant in Westbourne, Bournemouth.
Top row: a selection of starters, and there was also soup.
The cake was made by a friend, who also made the amazing sugar flowers with the spikey penis pistils.
The chef piped the Happy Birthday on my delish Brownie, meringue and pink grapefruit 'granite' dessert.
There were 7 of us, aged 30 -90!

Those flowers are wonderful! Your friend did a terrific job. I wouldn't know where to start, and they'd end up looking like lumps of nothing, I'm sure! I'm totally impressed. Glad you had a good 70th! :) May you enjoy many more in good health.

Congratulations Andrea! A fantastic montage and a lovely layout of foods! A beautiful sugar flower to top off your cake but I would only eat a slice of cake since I don't know where that spikey penis pistil has been!!!!!! :o)

Such a mouth watering dishes, Andrea! Everything is designed so fantastic, I can make me a bit of an idea of the revelry that radiates from these exceptional dishes. Oh, and the fennel that looks so attractive to me, Andrea. To say nothing of those red penis, may I ask what you did with this, whether he is heavy on your stomach with your sexy seventy years?

Well first off, any upload that features "spikey penis pistils" gets my vote any day. (Sounds like a punk rock group.) I'm not sure I could bring myself to eat those...Anyway, it's a terrific looking collection of foods, and very healthy-looking too. I'm vegetarian, so I might do very well with food like this. Your shots of food always make me famished, and usually on the days when I'm low on food and I have to binge on organic lettuce and a piece of pita bread old enough to double as a freakin' floor mat. Beautiful cameos, and one---your cake---with a stained glass gothic window behind it. A scrumptious collection. I hope it was a great time---you deserve it!
