Description

Captured 4/27/14, at the beautiful Renaissance Faire, held at the beautiful Santa Fe Dam Recreation Area, in semi beautiful Irwindale, California. In the past, I've seen jugglers juggling and tossing around all kinds of stuff: balls, bowling pins, bottles, hoops, knives, whatever, but never saw it done like this. I think it's quite a stretch to call this juggling in the usual sense of the word, but maybe this was how it was done during the Renaissance. A lot of woman there, and, is her skin white! Okay to ZOOM. Adjo.

I have seen sticks juggled like this before, but for the life of me I still don't understand how it's done. She is an ample armful of womanhood, isn't she? Beautiful layers of what appears to be velvet in her gown, but that hat won't keep her skin milky white for long in that bright sun! Another excellent series from the faire, Harry; you got to see a lot, didn't you?

Delightful captures, Harry, and I love the smile you got in number 1: She's smiling at you, but there's something sly about it, like she's saying "you ain't seen nothin' yet, kid..." Also, in that shot, it looks like she's about to spill one of the sticks: I know she isn't, but the moment looks otherwise---love that. And she hasn't moved much, in the second shot: She seems to be in the same position, only she turned her gaze back to her work. Her outfit's great, and that hat---man, what a combination! Something right out of vaudeville! That's a riot! Terrific pair, and a most unusual type of juggling---I hadn't heard of it either---and that first shot's smile is the cat's meow: I almost expect Mae West to pop out from inside her. A delightful 'catch', and great that she turned and smiled for you like that. Man, I've YET to get anyone to smile for me like that. (You know, I wonder if this would fail to get off the ground in Chicago, because LA is loaded with performers of every kind, as well as people who know how to wear period costume, etc, because of the entertainment business. I can't picture finding one tenth the trained performers in Chicago that you have out there...) Love this.

I'll refrain from mentioning her size because she is such a happy bunny indeed! Nice shot mate, very well captured indeed! Rob
