Do you know, Mark, this time I like the original most of all! How perverse, you're thinking!

I love the original, but the top one really grabs my attention. Seems like a moonlit night.

Good gravy Mark...that's kinda like, Egads Batman! Words fail...I've used all the superlatives I know in the last few days. But seriously, I love all three renderings...none best...all different from each other. Once again your post inspires me to try some new stuff. However, everytime I give something like this a go, it comes out looking like things I've already done. The inspiration is still there...to keep trying...and keep trying...and keep trying. Well done!

I like the way the Hancock stands out like a smokestack or a cooling tower or some other ominous thing, and then turns out to be ... just the Hancock! :) I still use it as a landmark, and I'm still amazed that they park cars in the building instead of underground! (I get why they do it, but it's a strange concept to a mind used to big hills.) I like the reversed progression. It makes me wonder if Andrea likes where you lead her, rather than having a specific preference for a certain look. ???

Actually, I don't think of Bill's Gotham City when I look at these abstracts, so stark in their contrasts and radiating colors, Mark. Batman's metropolis is/was much more dark and brooding, rife with criminal activity. Your Lake Michigan suggests the thin film of water that emerges on the ice of a skating rink after a few sessions of activity. These Chicago skyline pics of yours always remind me of the city frozen over, thousands of years in the future, with biological life but a mere memory, in the movie, Artificial Intelligence. All in all, an outstanding collage.

I'm going with Harry here; it's a much lighter and friendlier city than Gotham, no need for a superhero, just a superphotographer! I love what you've done with this, from the original through your different moods. Different seasons of feeling, I think. Well done!

These montages of yours are always so full of detail. colors, and shapes. If I remember correctly, when I was there with Tara, our hotel looked right at the Hancock; but since that trip's just a blur, I could well be dreaming. At any rate, another of your fine pieces!!

Mark, I thoroughly enjoyed this series and can't imagine a more exciting example of architectural study. This cityscape really is magnificent, and I especially like the details along with the reflection. You certainly have an eye for what makes a perfect capture.

Beautiful images and montage, Mark. What a fantastic looking skyline. The beauty of the city. Amazin green water reflections i the top image, too.
