After Jasper's funeral ceremony, the coffin is closed and carried outside to the waiting hearse. The respectful file out of the little church and go to their respective vehicles. Skylar and Reed follow the procession behind the hearse in the rental van and attend the graveside service. They strike up a conversation with the lady auctioneer. She remarks at what a lovely service it was and how well attended too. The guys don't know how to approach the subject, so Skylar just blurts it out that he doesn't think that was Jasper in the coffin. The auctioneer assures him that it really was. Sometimes peoples faces change a little when they pass and the funeral parlors don't always do the best job with the deceased, but yes, there is not doubt that was Jasper! They decide to leave it at that. She could be right they decide. They load the van and get the Edsel loaded onto the trailer and pull out onto the highway after making sure everything is secure and safe. All lights working, the Edsel securely strapped to the trailer, the trailer securely fastened to the van; yup, they are ready to boogie! They head on over to Houston. Reed is driving. Once they get within 20 miles of the city, Skylar gives their new friend Lilly Goodbody a call on his cell phone. She is overjoyed to hear from them again and insists that they stop by and please, please, please spend the night. She and her brothers have so much to thank them for. Seems that after they left, business picked up quite briskly and they have been full to capacity almost every night. They get great customers and believe their good luck rubbed off from Skylar and Reed being their first customers. The guys decide to at least stop for awhile and visit with the Goodbodys. They pull up to the curb by the B&B and find Lilly waiting outside for them. She escorts them inside where she has some home cooked pastries and fresh coffee. Her twin brother's Leo and Lance, are already helping themselves to the treat. They have a great visit with Lilly and her brothers and are finally pursuaded to spend the night.
