Description
We had some blue sky with puffy clouds on this day & the orange color from the geothermal activity in the river created some beautiful reflected color effects. You can also see steam rising in the distance.

Love how the red and blue mix in the reflections. Gives a very surreal appearance. A ND filter would have smoothed out the ripples, given a more smooth appearance, and stretched out those clouds, which may have been quite striking too. I've been thinking of heading back to Yellowstone. Your works are inspiring.

I was going to say it was a cool photo but it didn't work well in my mind with the geothermal subject of this glorious photo and colors!
