Description
I just had to show all of you this face. I took this on my cell phone at 4 this morning, so the quality is bad, but the expression is priceless. The little smirk is too good. This little guy came in a week ago. He had pneumonia. He is wild enough that I am not to look him in the eyes. If I do, he is sure I am going to eat him. This issue requires either him or myself to cover his eyes while he is eating. Until today, that was not a problem. This morning, he was feeling much better. He decided rather quickly that he should now be in charge of holding the bottle. This posed the issue of him not being able to cover his eyes. As I watched him work this problem out, you could see in his face when he made his decision. The control of the bottle was now the most important thing. He did watch my other had to make sure I did not go after the bottle. He is laying on his back with his head in my hand here. His name is Buddy.

If there is someone out there who does not smile just by looking at this picture, that person is not human at all. Thank you for the smiles - Buddy is so adorable! while I'm very sure that it is forbidden, could you give him a little scratch behind his ears?

Not only his face. This fingers and fingernails (claws?). Look like the Wolverine of recent comic and film fame. I bet they do hurt if you get scratched. I love your patience and how you gain these animals confidence in you. His face says a lot. And please don't apologize for the photo quality. This photo is outstanding - very good for a cell phone camera! Had you not mentioned it, I would not have known! Keep up the good work! :-)
