Greetings Folks, Welcome back to the ongoing Legends Series and today we have a Hawker Special.. Before you sits a real feast of 1930's delights, all from the Hawker factory.. From the RIGHT: Hawker Nimrod Mk II, 'K3661' owned by Historic Aircraft Collection Hawker Nimrod Mk I, 'S1581' Owned by The Fighter Collection, Hawker Demon 'K8203', the only airworthy one.. Owned by Demon Displays.. and, Hawker Hind.. owned by The Shuttleworth Trust.. Photo taken at Duxford Flying Legends a couple of years back..

Wonderful line up....classics one and all, I caught almost the same pov in a pano 10,000pixels wide, which included the two Gladiators....pity that Rendo won't allow it :-( Keep 'em coming bud, really enjoying the series...

Gorgeous, simply gorgeous. The 1930's Hawker biplanes in their silver-doped schemes are the pinnacle of biplane beauty. Gleaming knights of the air, you might say.

Nice composition of the biplanes all in a row, mate. If it wasn't for the propeller spinners and engine cowlings, I'd say this, was a reprise of the Lafayette Escadrille from WWI. Eddie Rickenbacker has got to be in there somewhere.
