Welcome here at renderosity Ruth... as I know you from another group... I wouldn;t call you a "beginner" , so maybe you better post on "photography" i.s.o."beginner I love this wonderful flower; the colors are crisp and clear; maybe I would have preferred a more blurry background, but I understand this isn't always possible

HI Juliette, Thanks for your comments on this photo. I also appreciate your constructive comment about having a blurrier background and will give that a try. Thanks. Re: your comment about me not being a beginner: When I compare the photos that are posted in "photography" to my own photos, I consider the quality of mine to be more in the beginner's category. But, I'll try posting some of them to the "photography" category and see what happens. Thanks.
