Description
Captured 4/27/14, at the beautiful Renaissance Faire, held at the beautiful Santa Fe Dam Recreation Area, in semi beautiful Irwindale, California.
Caught this couple enjoying the mellifluous tunes of a hard rock band. The lady was wearing a very noticeable variety of feathers on her back. Kind of reminds me of a turkey. Her mate sports a more modest assortment on his hat.
A ZOOM would improve viewing conditions considerably.
Adios.

First, it's amazing this was a hard-rock band, as I see a traditional string bass---not a typical rock instrument at all. But that doesn't mean anything. It can still be playing rock! But from the pic alone, it sure looks like it's Renaissance music, and not rock, lol. Like all your shots in this series, it glistens with many hues and lush forms. Yes, the lady does look like a turkey from the back; and the way you've caught her in pics 2 and 3, her plumes run into the lines of many other parts of the image, to make a harmonious continuation. The painting on the arc over the band is hard to distinguish from real nature, because everything is so decorated and colorful: I like how you let the two worlds run into each other, visually. And it looks like you made a circle from front view to two back views, and let us see some of the spectators along with a couple of musicians. A kind of panorama. Lush shots, with a feeling of a carnival. Your music shots (incl your most recent, with that woman who appears to be telling you to 'not shoot') have captured the carnival atmosphere of live-music in fairsL They all feel like what fair-music feels like. And the top shot is a fine portrait in its own right, capturing a very warm and friendly looking couple. More fine work from you.
