Description
Captured back on 4/5/08, early morning, I know not where.
A ZOOM is not out of the question.
There are tons of varieties of ranunculus, many so dissimilar that it's mind boggling.
Aloha.

What a superb capture of these various blooms all related yet different, just like people! I particularly like the orange ones, for some odd reason. Gorgeous shot!

Because of your postwork and light, you've made this seem like a made-bouquet, it has a wonderful design element to it, made by your treatment, closeness to the subject, settings, postwork, etc. The flowers are facing various directions, but they seem to all be on the same plane, and it makes this feel like a tapestry. The effect is beautiful, as the flowers bloom out of this big 'carpet' of green leaves of various kinds. And your red and pink flowers give great accent to the whole, along with that tall leaf on the right side. A bouquet shot, and very design-like. And there's quite a bit of variety in the leaves too (some blue hues, greens, different textures, etc.) A lush, rich capture.
