Always a delight for any garden lover, beautiful shots of beautiful plants! I like to have Aeoniums in my bedding too! They add a bit of the exotic don't they? The Banana is quite a size, is it the HARDY? "Basjoo"! I will post a shot of this years exotics in my garden corner for you.

Looking great Andrea. The weather is funny this year. I have a Hellebore that's flowering already. Can't work it out. Mick

You have a banana plant?! Does it bear fruit? I've said it before but this place should be placed on a national register of something or other to preserve it. Such a wonderland.

A garden without bamboo is like a beautiful woman with only one eye. (Okay, I'm mis-quoting, since I think the original sentiment had something to do with a meal without cheese, but still...) I love each and every one of these shots. I saw them when they were first posed, but didn't comment, as I was pressed for time, and so when I came back, I had to look again, and again...each of these images is really rich, really lush. I love all of the contours and the lively, warm-weather colors, which I always miss horrendously in winter! I can imagine the sound of birds and insects here as well as the melange of lovely plant and soil scents. This is absolutely stunning.

Delightful as always Andrea - lovely and very clean bamboo 'Aureocaulis' - I have never seen such a large fuschia, we only see hanging baskets over here, pretty but fragile.
