Description


National Automobile Museum Reno, Nevada The red car is a 1951 Kaiser Frazer Manhattan convertible sedan, and the yellow car is a 1948 Lincoln Continental Cabriolet. The way the cars are facing, you're looking at the driver's side front quarter panel of the Lincoln reflected in the driver's side front quarter panel and driver's door of the Kaiser.

And big fat white walls in the bargain. Leave it to you to get a crackerjack abstract out of the reflection of one car in another. Terrific color and light. I saw my stepmother yesterday and she pointed out a picture on the wall showing her grandfather standing in front of his shop around 1925. Reflected in the window of that shop was a building across the street where my stepmother lived as a girl. Fascinating picture and history. You didn't have any relatives in Brooklyn, did you?
