Description
The HMS Ajax, was a Royal Navy Leander class light cruiser. (It was one of eight British ships so named, this namesake is pennant number 22). The Ajax entered active service in 1939 and gained early recognition in the Battle of River Plate, sinking the German merchant ship Olinda and forcing the scuttling of two other axis ships, the Carl Fritzen and Ossukuma, within three days.
Ajax served with distinction during the entire conflict, participation in a number of major actions, and ending her duties with the repatriation of German POW's to Germany after the war. She was broken up for scrap in 1949.

Well made. The model is on my hard disc but I had not the time to rework and to use it. You made a great job.
