My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

As soon as I read the title, before I saw the picture, "Watching all the girls go by." Of course, when the Four Lads recorded it in 1956 it was assumed the "girls" liked it. Nowadays not so much. The dark haired woman looks particularly stoic A great street scene which perhaps tells more than it seems at first glance.

Brilliant! So many separate loves only just brushing by each other for the briefest moments.

Great capture Tara! Yeah, if one wasn't born early enough, then the title is totally meaningless as a reference to the song

The song came straight to mind and it's obvious what the boys are staring at! Super shot.

Can just imagine what's going on in their heads lol. Spooky really as this song was on an album I was listening to today .

Splendid architecture, Tara.

Fantastic scene.

You can see the lechery on those blokes faces, shame when a girl can't walk down the street without being a sex object. Great shooting.

BTW The guy right behind the brunette looks like Derek Jeter. Who I am sure isn't lecherous at all, just a brilliant short stop of our time :)

Superb street capture, Tara; the guys seem to like what they see, and the front lady seems oblivious to them. Wonder what's going on in her mind?

The only thing missing here are the numbered signs for the guys to hold up like the Olympic judges.... LOL Watchin' all the girls go by.... What a great people shot, Tara! Love this one!

Great capture Tara. That's what we used to do as teenagers. It looks really cool in b&w!

Those guys will still be there when they're 50...the gals will have moved on!

There's a whole story about lust, sexual objectification, feminism & maybe even race relations in this photo. As I've mentioned before, like many in this series of street shots, it could serve as a Rorschach test to reveal attitudes & personalities...

Well yeah, watching the girls go by but what for I wonder.. Those are some looks.. Good capture.. Rob
