juvenile Great Blue Heron A juvenile Great Blue Heron settling in for the night. They average 46 inches (117 cm) tall with a wing span of 72 inches (183 cm). Photo taken at the Wakodahatchee Wetlands, a swamp within walking distance from where we live. It will zoom. Thanks for stopping by, taking a look and for all your previous favs and comments.
