Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

Pretty! Ours haven't really got going, it hasn't been cold enough.

Very nice. I noticed you called it 'Autumn' as we would!

Lovely collage Marilyn!

The colours are slow this year around here; weird weather patterns. These are beautiful glimpses of autumn!

Most lovely in this colorful montage, Marilyn.

We get so many oranges and reds at home that I start to think that's what's "normal." But we've been in Montana and Wyoming the past few days, and the colors run from deep green to bright yellow, and everything in between! It's lovely, with its "missing" colors.

Andrea said she hadn't had enough color because it wasn't cold enough...I thought that too 'much' cold killed the colors. I don't really understand all that---we had a cold summer and very cold fall, and our colors were quick-lived and mostly toned-down. But anyway, some very sweet shots of the variety you get out there. I like that you start the 4-some with those big hanging orange leaves (like big mangoes), you have two cluster shots, and one (right/bottom) with a real potpourri. Yes, I can see that you're not "awash" in fall foliage, here, but it's still sweet, and a sweet collection.
