Description

while out hunting, there are other animals and birds that inhabit the forest. here is one such animal - the Douglas Pine Squirrel from Wildlife.com: The DOUGLAS SQUIRREL (Tamiasciurus douglasii), sometimes called a Chickaree, inhabits West Coast pine forests from California north into Canada and Alaska. Douglas Squirrels are small -- only about a foot long, including their tail. Very active and noisy, naturalist John Muir called them the "squirrel of squirrels" because they possess "every attribute peculiarly squirrelish enthusiastically concentrated." they have an interesting sound when they talk and it is a joy to watch them go from tree to tree. This little one just sat there and let me take his picture, several in fact. Have a great day and a wonderful weekend thanks for the comments and faves

Nice catch dude. When I lived in the States, I stayed for a time with a mate who lived right opposite Princeton University. We used to go over and sit in their gardens for lunch and feed the squirrels. Lame by your hunting standards, but I loved them! I remember also seeing a heap of them at Bryce.

I also love watching the grey squirrels over here. Invaders of course and not as pretty as our native reds, but good to watch like I say.
