Ok. I did this in 30 minutes---and it SHOWS, lol.
BUT!
Helle (helanker) has been posting these delightful "Alphabet" pieces, and I decided to challenge myself and do some myself. SHE worked with a wacom---I worked with Fonts. (Cheap!!!!!) And...well...that's only PART of the reason mine aren't as good...
BUT!!!
I'm posting them anyway, and I hope they'll make you smile.
ABC, with Ornery Variations.
I'll comment more tomorrow!
(It's great being back in your galleries again!)
Have a great night!
Mark

Colorful, obviously, but also jazzy, rhythmic, musical - this is cool improvisational font art, Mark...

Looks impressive and ultra-cool very nicely developed and a great visual indeed well done Mark!!

This does have a very musical feel to it, continuing after your Bach piece? I love the movement through the "bars", the increasing complexity as it progresses to the finish...well done, and very deceptively complex (deceptive in that it appears simple at first glance, but draws you in and unfolds its myriad depths to astound you!) Nice, nice!

A little of this, a little of that, this time further enhanced by large initials and text of an arcane nature in this stunning collage, Mark. The colors, patterns and textures offer LSD hallucinatory effects at their best. Shades of graffiti upon graffiti upon graffiti. In any case, a continuing image of a coat hanger through most of it. And, up to now, I thought helanker was a guy.

Mark, let me say that I also have been enjoying the lovely and creative images Helle has been releasing recently with this them and was thrilled to see one by you also. Each image is outstanding and deserves a long look, so obviously the 30 minutes of your time that was invested in this creation was well worth it. The contrast in variations is something and the fourth one down instantly caught my eye. Maybe that's because of the darker tones that certainly do give it that jazzy feel as mentioned by one of the earlier commenters.

A glorious codaless Sonata ! I love that second image in particular. I already told Helle I am inspired by her alphabet too, so I shall also have a go.

OH WOW! Mark! I see so much music in this piece of art and I really love it. Full of music, colors, happiness and creativity. And I am so happy I could inspire you to do something like this. Half an hour? Superbly done. It is not always about how much time we put into our art, as it is the spirit or mood we have, when we create. As you see in my alfabet, they are so very different from eachother, simply because we are in many different moods when we create. You have really been in a wonderful mood, when you created this singing and danging piece. I just love it.

And thank you so much for mentioning me in this upload :)

How inspiring this is! I was enjoying Helle's alphabet, but never gave any serious thought to trying some of my own. But now that I've seen yours, and I notice Andrea has done an A, I'm starting to get excited by the possibilities. :) This is very cool. I'm mesmerized by your progression. You start out with this sort of "raw material" vibe, of something coalescing out of the cosmos, and end up with one of those wrought iron fences that are so omnipresent in Chicago. What? You didn't know you'd done that? :P Look again ... I believe you'll see the edges of the gate. :) Brilliant!

Where do I start? I haven't been around much lately and geez, I've missed some pretty amazing stuff. I sure never saw the ABC's like this. Each one is so different and that's SO you. I love this, every single part of it!

These are very cool and might also be fun with a words or words. I like the contrast of the font over the abstract shapes and colors - they really work well together. I like them all and my favs are one and four.
