Wow! What a view! I love the echoing layers you've captured here. Flowers, brush, trees and mountains repeat their shapes beautifully. Gorgeous place!

A big icy blue feast, atop the long plain, in front; and contrasted by big bursting yellow flowers (mule ears). Almost a 3-part piece---almost, because there's so much more here than 3 parts. But the 3 part thing makes this vast landscape into something so basic. I was here, as a child, and remember these views. I did my first ever painting, of these peaks. The way the ground hues lead to those magnificent blue-white peaks is wonderful. And the clouds seem to be moving in perfect harmony with the mountaintops. Beautiful, Claude. The Tetons can be "too" photogenic, and therefore inspire shots that are too obvious. One of their challenges is to make them grand while at the same time fresh. This is like the first time I ever saw them...
