My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

I agree. Sometimes we need to laugh a little more. Once again you have created beauty. Wonderful. .

A tchotchke is a knickknack or trinket. My mother loved them, my father had no use for them. I like your tchotchkes and the way you display them.

A very lovely work of art, Tara! One of our few redeeming traits as a species - we can actually create things for no other purpose than to delight ourselves with their beauty.

A thing of beauty is a joy forever, right? Wonderful image and treatment for this addition to the rendo alphabet!

(I can't get the 'rating' to work---it's stuck at "no rating". Well, so add a 5 star rating to what you have here!) A very rich autumnal image, bathed in pumpkin oranges and rich yellows and some browns. And you have some blues on the left, and some deep slate/brown/almost chocolate hues on the left---beautiful accents, tara. The conglomeration is of ornaments or ornament-loking things, but they really have a life of their own---if you didn't use the word "ornament," I might think it's a collection of fruits and vases and sculptures. It's both. The O is well placed---this is beautiful, warm, autumnal, rich and it makes me hungry! It just looks like hues that I'd like to eat. Your design element of rich yellows on the bottom with deeper oranges on top, and the two darker sections on the sides---and that wholly orange border---are all spot on. Beautiful work once more, as you continue this rich, loving journey into letters, for us...
