Thanks for having a look. Hope everyone's weekend was warmer than mine-- -34C windchills!
New character for me, DAZ's Domina (G2F). Her skin's way too "perfect" but that can be fixed. All the set and prop textures were done in FilterForge. I used a new program called 'knald' to create bump and transparency maps since the filter author didn't have any available. Found a cool brush in zBrush that lets me create lathe objects ridiculously quickly in an intuitive way. The folds in the linen are all zBrush geometry. UVs from zBrush as well. The fabric was all done using an IMM brush I made myself. Absolutely simple tri-part brush but it really makes stuff like this easy to do. The hair is dynamic Carrara hair. (I can't for the life of me figure out how to get a golden blonde coloring using the gamma 2.2 settings. Sigh.)
I did this as a learning exercise. I found the reference on 500px and attempted to duplicate it as closely as possible. It's very interesting how much you can learn about your toolset when you're restrained to accuracy rather than "Oooh, I like that!" It was a great educational experience and I'll do more as time allows.
VirtualPhotographer was used to add the glow effect as I still can't trick Carrara into rendering one. (The aura effect just kills render times for something that's just a post-render effect.)

Wow what beautiful model ! Awesome pose, and peaceful atmosphere. I don't have clue how to do this type of art-work--my hubby and I stick to fractals. Sounds like our Canadian weather --is -38c at the moment. Your gallery is filled with awesome art-work.
