My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

This is one busy picture. I do see the Space Needle. I like the way the S is it's own building. The busyness if it makes me think of the noise of s big city.

And another "S"uper fun and beautifully done composite, Tara! These are so creative - you should print them all, frame them, and have a show at a local gallery.

Thank you Tara! This is an amazing creation, the more I look the more I see. You are right, this is a milestone of sorts for me. Thanks for the call too. I will have to go through all of your creations and analyze them, but I have no clue what is involved to making them. Your pictures are easier to judge and appreciate, after all I have seen you in action. Thanks again Tara!

Love Sig's response: "Your pictures are easier to judge...after all I have seen you in action." I assume he means your 'photos' when he says 'pictures'. Yes, understanding the blend and montage process like is unraveling an enigma wrapped in a riddle (or whatever that saying is by Churchill, about the Soviet Union): It's many mixes of technique, patience and magic dust. Your blends have a certain "calling" to them, like you got callings from distant ethers while you put these together. This is another change-up---in part because you transformed the buildings into an intense Chip-like neon glittering, grainy tapestry, and made urbanity feel like an intense ochre dream. I see a lot of Chicago here (lots, lol!), and the famous Seattle needle, and maybe there are other places here too---New Orleans, yes? In the wire fence for a balcony? It almost looks like a huge pasta dish to be served to architecture for lunch. Giddy riotous dancing city cacophony, with those ghost images in the sky (mushroom ears? whatever they are, they're like a crowd watching the whole thing), and a definite pumpkin orange theme; with a border that looks like birthday and christmas wrapping---you've managed to do 'birthday' and 'alphabet' in the same pic. And your highrise-filled S looms above it all in a very bright hue, by contrast. You've got buildings on an angle on both sides, falling into a big crammed center. Chip would resonate with this image...a Skyscraper Studio 54. Terrific.

I am getting dizzy just looking upwards, scrolling up & down, up & down ;P and thinking to myself: I wonder who lives at the top-floor ? maybe Superman flying in and out windows and around this pecan pie - coloured dish ... delish ! and the big 'S' signifies the birthday candle on it - YUM ! you created a dynamic mix of architecture - with flair, Tara ;P BB
