Description
Captured 11/29/14, very early in the am, right outside my condominium complex.
A follow up to my previous 11/21/14 partial high-key snap of the parked autos by the curb. It was imperative at the moment to capture the high contrast of the general scene and the sun reflections off the vehicles.

Excellent catch. Odd to see leaves on the trees, they've mostly been long gone here, just a few stragglers left here.

I loved the earlier one, and this one is even more intense. It's "rustier" if that's the appropriate word: There's a slight rusty haze in this one, and the light is really bleaching, up on top. There are some photographers who stay away from such powerful light, but I'm a big fan of it; and here it gives a beautiful stark rusty yellow to the whole piece. And the dark shadows in and around the cars make for a high contrast, almost spooky milieu. A very intense shot, and I'm glad you got it, considering how fast the light 'evens out' at that hour. 10 minutes later, the light has left, and you want to scream, "hey---I'm WORKIN' here!!!" Love this series.
