My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Beautiful chrome capture!!!

The design is so elaborate & detailed - almost baroque compared to today's more bland & utilitarian car bodies - & your POV brings this out wonderfully. Of course, today we have electronic features up the wazoo inside the car, requiring manuals hundreds of pages long to describe how they function...

Heavy Metal! The words "eats Volkswagens for breakfast" comes to mind. A wonderful capture of all that bling.

A remarkable portrait. Lincoln would be very pleased if those headlights were eyes. I expect he has a few country cousins in Cuba.

Well done - great shot.

Mom and dad had a yellow Lincoln when I was a little kid. It had an 8 cylinder engine but rarely ran on all of them.

gazongas! (that's not a word, but it is now) A wallop of a capture. With all that high sheen chrome, your focussing on the big 'face' of the grill and lights is just perfect. It's a big gaping monster. And it shines like all get-out. Really fine work on this, Tara, a real shine-in-our-face capture of the front of this beauty. And your angled crop makes it look like it's lunging at something right outside the frame. Considering that you're not a car freak, you've managed to do stunning photos of cars. I even like the red thing in the left-front---whatever it is. An ear-muff? The back tire is aligned with the back headlight too...beautiful work. And it just pops, in zoom. Whoosh.

Love the reflections.

What a fantastic nose this is. It has all a nose should have. I so love the yellow with all the crome abnd reflections. They could really make fancy cars then. Today it is hard to see the difference between cars. What a perfect shot this is.

I didn't know that kind of Lincoln.
