Description

Started out as my "O" in the alphabet series. Then it morphed into THIS. My apologies to O and her family. (and dog) BTW, that drawing of me and my dog? The dog was from the '60s. My face was from the '80s. I didn't have a beard as a child, lol. (I was a registered Stock-Broker at 8, a CEO of 6 major corporations by 9, I also wrote a scholarly treatise on nucleotides at 10, and I didn't know what nucleotides were---but I got a Nobel Prize in Chemistry for my treatise, plus a letter of appreciation from 6 nucleotides. They said my treatise was "cool". But I didn't have a beard...) Thanks for your wonderful support! A great Friday to all, Mark Very large...more detail when seen Full...

Wonderful! Full view is like a party ... there's so much going on. I like it that the O is absolutely there, but also only implied. And in mono? Wow! What a thought! This is brilliantly done.

Well, now, this ones very different - no psychedelic colors, yet it's still wildly imaginative, while paradoxically also being somewhat more restrained & controlled. I can't really say it reminds me of anything specific - it seems very purely abstract, with no figurative frames of reference - though I get a kind of sci-fi vibe from it. And did I forget to mention that I really like it?

O indeed? Have you read 'The Liar' by Stephen Fry? The only book, BTW, that forced me to look at the synopsis on Wiki to make sure I hadn't lost the plot. Well I may have lost the plot but I did eventually understand the book. I digress. A very different image from you, and a little Chipka like.

This fascinating image brings up many questions. Like ...do crystal balls ever have a bad hair day, since they are bald? You've certainly given us something to ponder. I mean, crystal balls are magic so anything is possible. Even a beard. Perhaps it is gazing into its past, remembering those wild, windblown days.Hairy or hairless, that is one wild crystal ball. ;0) And congrats on your Nobel Prize on nucleotides at age 10. Is that something you put on your face to make hair grow?

This is a very cyberpunk sort of O, that's for certain. O as constructed by the Borg maybe...I like it!

WOW! That is completely different from most of what you do, Mark, but not the less beautiful, with all the greyscales hues and textures and light. A really superb O. :-)

Mark, this is splendid work on what is a truly breathtaking image. This is one of those that must be seen in full size view to be properly appreciated as the wild detailing is spectacular. What can be said is you have taken the 'O' to new heights and set the bar for all who follow. You know I was thinking if you would have had a beard back then you might have gotten the appreciation you so richly deserved. At least the idea was it might have provided some gravitas for you that only facial hair can bring. ;)

O, did I fall into a piece of machinery on drugs or something? This is beyond cool (and someone stop me from using that word, it's almost as bad as "awesome"!!!), and another example of your amazing talent!! I totally missed this alphabet series, but I've loved seeing what ya'll did with it.
