On the road--again--this time heading to the far northwest..in Oregon now, heading to Washington and the Olympic Peninsula.

With everyone else, I think this is a smashing image. The crop with the mountains cut off right at the base, that dark down at the bottom, and that purple-green-blue bare sky, just make this ridge feel like it's out of another planet. Desolate and powerful. A really fine piece of seeing, Marilyn. It's great to see all these pictures from your trips: It reminds us of how spectacular the West really is.
