You might spot me at Kirra Beach, the South-Eastern end of the Gold Coast, Australia,  if you like beach walking like myself... but there is more ! My son Jeff (*jif3d*, here at Rendo, it helps to advertise, ooops)... he took this pic of me in 2000, then manipulated it in photo-shop and it's still one of my favourites. Just very briefly about my past... *born in East Prussia; *grew up in Berlin, West Germany; *migrated to "OZ" in 1960, (not the Wizard of Oz) but...AUSTRALIA ! I guess  I was more into '2D' since early childhood, and thinking that my son Jeff may have inherited some of my artistic skills, because he translated them into '3D'. I am hooked on photography, since I discovered cameras... that's it in a nutshell. BTW - one of my fav.quotes.... ** I cannot give you the formula for success, but I can give you the formula for failure - which is trying to please everybody !**                                              that's a wrap... Cheers Brigitte.

Wow, I love this. Your "warhol santa"---I'll get to this wonderful image, but did you know that warhol was a very religious man? He was eastern orthodox, originally, and one of his greatest influences was the constant rows of icons in the church he went to, as a child. The little pictures of saints and prophets repeated themselves over and over on the walls, and in homes too, and they really effected him. He was deeply influenced by their repetition, and by the whole concept of "icons"---which he later put into his iconic treatments of everyone from Marilyn Monroe to Mao Zedong/Tze Tung. This is a wonderful capture---and do I recognize a skyline in there? And a big beautiful spill of rectangles pouring all over the image? Were they in the original santas, or was that more of your visual play and creativity? If it's yours---and it looks like it is---bravo! I love it! A very refreshing Christmas image, playful and unexpected, and santa has to be thrilled to be portrayed as something other than the jolly guy in the red suit. He looks neon here! Love this treatment. Merry Christmas to you and all your loved ones, and a wonderful new year, Brigitte. It's always great to have you here. Have a wonderful holiday. (It's HOT where you are! I still can't get over that. The whole hemisphere thing---I still think it's a put on, and you guys are under 40 feet of snow. But---have a great time, no matter what! Thanks for all you give here!)

Four Santas? That means four times the presents! Very creative treatment. And the reference to Warhol is spot on. I hear that his sleigh down there is drawn by eight kangaroos. Wishing you and your loved ones a very merry Christmas and happiness in the new year.

A nice Warholish Santa! A Merry Christmas to you and yours too, Brigitte! :)

I love this! The colors are exciting with all those angles and lines. It's easy to see why Warhol was fascinated by this sort of thing. Brilliant!

And yes my dearest, I must first apologize for my late response. And it's not that I feel obliged because I read your lovely words in my 'high flyer.' ;-) It is that every day I plan to do a lot, but in reality, very little is what I do, unfortunately. I hope your year is so beautiful began as here this fantastic 'a little fluorinated splendour', of which I have admired after all, those of lower right, with the most yellow in it most admire, also because of all the details in this one are at it's best to admire. You always manages to surprise every time, with a unique BB * - artwork. You are a Topper, and I hope for more from you, of course. Now I'm finally pack up a box of gifts for our Swiss family that I had already promised to do last year. A big kiss from your Jacominchen. Thinking of you a lot!
