as others have said, it has a picture postcard feeling, but in the best sense. (As opposed to those "Hi! We're in Wyoming---Wish you were HERE!" type of postcards.) Your postwork has brought out edges, even doubled them; and this old western type of facade (the Well Fargo Express) is done in your usual intense light/shadow fashion. Reds and sepias predominate, the sepias actually "age" it, and your choice to use a whited-out sky---albeit with the markings of a print or watercolor paper---makes the scene even more picture postcard-ish. Fine work, Claude. And I hope your holiday was sweet in all ways, for you and all you love.
