Ah, the beginning of a sci-fi feature! Excellent capture.

A formidable sight, made more formidable by your angle---where the ivy spreads out towards us like a big spill of leaves. Amazing sight, and it culminates in the tree, where the leaves start migrating upwards. With a neighborhood shot that's pretty clean---I take it it was a dry june, because the grass is often brown---this big spill stands out strongly. Nice shadows throughout too. I've never seen ivy like this before. (LA has so many things we don't have.) Fine pov and light, Harry.

I always love seeing those scout tendrils going up in search of new territory to colonize; what a happy healthy ivy bed this is, and clearly it feels the need to add some living space for the kids! Superb capture in all its greenness, Harry!
