Description
A brand new drinking glass to perform these illusions. It appears to be levitating, but is actually lying on the surface. Had to work fast during the shoot because of the movement of the sun.
It was captured 12/26/14, early morning, sitting atop my bed, where the light was at its best at that moment. Plenty more, snapped at different POVs, from where that came from.

Very clean and minimalist. But for that tiny bit of background stuff---top left (the top of your bed?)---this is basically a glass, its shadow, and a long flat surface. The two long line-shadows---top and bottom---are a 'frame' for the glass. (There's a faint middle line, too.) But the star is the glass, and its shadow almost seems painted on, it's so bold. A kind of gravity defying shot---yes the glass looks detached, somehow---and the glass-and- shadow are so stark. More keen work from you in this genre. You've done glasses proud, with all your razor-sharp captures of them and their shadows. It's very simple, but to me powerful. I'll look forward to more in this series, as you post them...

What catches my eye is that little prism refracting in the shadow, with those lines (maybe from imperfections in the glass?) radiating up from the reflected base of the glass. What a cool shot, Harry! So much more than what you see initially...great shadowplay!
