My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

Very cool capture of these interesting and historic and perhaps, hysterical crucibles. This is a wonderful gift for Helle

Wonderful :) I love dancing and singing crucibles! Happy birthday, Helle :)

I just signed off, and boom: You uploaded this. So I ran back (through the mountains and over the sea...) to comment on it, and wish our dear helle another happy birthday! These pots may have been dancing---which is great---but I'm so happy they stopped because they made a splendid photo. The molten metal (and whatever else is petrified down the sides) is just scrumptious. And you got your usual deep shadows and olden textures; and beautiful light and blasts of light against the painting (which I love---I mean the light, not the painting itself). And your gilded-feeling on the frame's detail...The image is soaked in aged dignity, and it's inward, and the crucibles do look like they just ran in to pose for the shot. A beautiful dedi for Helle, to whom I join with you to say, once more, Happy Birthday Helle! I hope your day was wonderful to you, and so, the rest of the season! (Should I wish her "hygge"? Andrea used that word, and now you used a whole sentence! I had to go to the dictionary TWICE today!) A beautiful piece, tara, in which you have a way of 'aging' sights with dignity and intimacy. Gennemstegt! Happy BDay, Helle! (I looked up gennemstegt. I don't know a word of Danish!)

Wow, beautiful shot, I love the colors, textures, and what's going on with those crucibles is just incredible!

What Mark said. All of it. Darn the both of you!!! LOL! I love the warm light on this! But I would have really loved to see the dancing crucibles (sounds like a rock group, doesn't it?)

Love the colors here. This is such a rich and warm picture. Now, I need to know your trick for persuading things to stop the dancing and singing. I believe I could get many more and better pictures if I can get the animals to stop dancing and singing..............😐

Splendid capture!

As a collector of Japanese ceramics I love the markings on these. They have a very Asian, almost Raku, feel about them. Apparently they have been celebrating Helle's birthday a little too enthusiastically. The one second from right looks a little tipsy. A wonderful image and birthday gift.

This has to be one of the most unusual photographs I've ever seen. Absolutely inspired!

WOOHOOO! What a wonderful bunch of dancing pots. As I do love pots, I would certainly love Dancing pots even moreand even dancing pots with patina. That is triple beautiful. They look like a happy dream and I do love the texture they have, like some kind of lave running over the edges, still bubbling while they slowly run down along the pot. And the old framed Painting in the background fits perfect in color and HUE with the pots. Thank you so much Tara for this wonderful Birthday card :-)))) Hope you are still having a happy Holiday :-)

Well, darn...... Looks like I'm late to the party again... They're just sitting there looking tired - and quite lovely at the same time! I'd have enjoyed watching them dance around, but then I'd have to look at that bottle again, wondering what the heck was in it... (you know, the bottle I was drinking out of when Ranpha appeared..) This is a lovely photo, Tara, and I'm sure these crucibles could tell a tale or two - when they aren't singing the birthday song, that is! Happy Birthday, Helle!
