Grounding pf earth colors dimensional in octagon cube or another multi sided Just fascinates me the movement and color combination Hard soft edges grains grains rings of wood? Truly this is one of the most extrodinary pieces have seen Turn it upside down and see the face This Dear Heart is going to be so wonderful to look at on daily basis. Ever changing in all directions

Full view is so detailed! I like what you're doing with planes and edges, and the watercolor-wash thing gives the piece a softness it wouldn't have otherwise had. (I don't know how to describe what I'm seeing. It's another layer with waves or ice or something that gives me the feeling of thin watercolor dribbled and left to dry. It's wonderful!) The muted colors, with those pinks that hover around an ashes-of-roses shade, are a lovely, especially with the green and buff accents. Absolutely gorgeous!

You have imbued this with an interior life, full of movement and grace. As Tara mentioned, the colours are amazing. Bravo, Mark!

Mark, this is a fabulous presentation that must be seen in full size view to be properly enjoyed. I can't get over the wonderful array of colors as well as the warmth that flows from this image. This reminds me a bit of some of the amazing terrazzo floor patterns I've seen in Mexico.

Beautiful patterns. Before zooming, I didn't really get the marble effect - it looked like jagged, crystalline forms or perhaps overlapping shards of light in a Futurist style. It really needs to be zoomed to appreciate the marbled textures & the delicate coloring, which is more subtle than your usual eye-popping, in-your-face, psychedelic style. An outstanding abstract design...

Stones, in general, have a strong inner mystery inside them and have 'life' too ! Stones are an endless challenge for those that dig inside them. You never know how it will be and what you'll find. Stones have voice too. And Marbles are SO special!! They have many colors, shading, many transparencies and show wonderful shapes. Well, Mark, YOU did it. You unearthed the inner life of this marble and you depicture it, with the most impressive subtlety so we could breath its purity, its beauty. Your image, to me, speaks about the essence of the marble, Its inner voice and all the 'secrets' that stones have. It is a stunning image in colors, transparencies, shapes and light. You represented Marble, with a tremendous dignity. Bravo to you. And i can see the face that Meglaurel spoke and there are more...

Everyone preempted me on this striking image, they stole my thunder, ergo, all I can offer in this instance is an echo of all the comments above, Mark.
