Description

Life takes over, and I've been away from here more than I wanted. I'll try to get here as much as I can in the coming days. Strange shot to pop in with, lol---cows in the park after a huuuuuge snowstorm. Shot with high exposure. I'll get to all of you I promise! A stellar capture in its high key, subtle beige motif, Mark. The zoom is overwhelmingly large, covering not only my monitor, but also the entire living room wall behind it, LOL. The cows are in high contrast to the white snow; they stand stoically knee deep in the white stuff, seemingly unperturbed by the ultra cold weather. Wonderful composition. The news of your Arctic blizzard was covered here in Southern Calif.

Okay, I've seen cows in snow. But I'm with Denise ... cows in CHICAGO??? Are you freakin' kidding me? Don't they have an ordinance against that or something? I mean seriously. COWS?? This is not something I would have ever expected to see in your gallery. Pigeons, perhaps. I'll give you pigeons. But COWS? I have to go get some sleep. And maybe a drink. Cows??? ps. Great shot! :D

Mark, this is a wonderful presentation that really did give me a boost this evening. As pointed out above this appears more like a detailed painting than a photo, and is one to be proud of. This is the sort of scene that I encounter daily on my travels to the highway going through the back roads, except thankfully we haven't had the snow this year that you appear to have now.
