Description
Another shot from the garden area of the county fair last summer.
Just spent the weekend with my sisters and nieces in San Francisco. We had a blast, though I'm not sure if the city will ever be the same!! Took LOTS of fotos, so you'll be seeing them soon. Forgot my good camera, but used the heck outta my little one; we'll see how it did!!

A big scraggly lived-in dahlia, a flower that's seen a lot and isn't afraid to show it. I love how bold it is, how in our faces, and how all those wrinkles and age-signs are so boldly visible. Not afraid to be whoever it is. And the edges seem to glow in a sunny yellow. Beautifully done, Marilyn. And it's great you got to be in S.Francisco with your sisters and nieces. That's a big group! Sounds like you had a terrific time. Glad you got to do that. Your winters should be filled with joy and relaxation. This is a real Marilyn flower shot, through and through.
