This reminds me of one you posted a couple of days ago in which I commented that it looked like a Japanese woodblock print - this one does too. It has an elegant simplicity & it's a wonderful composition that integrates the formal geometry of the man-made structures (bridge, statue, lampposts) with the organic flow of the natural landscape (snow, trees, reeds, pond). And the soft yellow tones finish it all off beautifully. A masterpiece, which you humbly wrote off as "Just a statue in the park, with snow"...

OMG, barren leafless trees to die for! Love it! A magnifique panorama of desolation at its most poignant, Mark. And what appears to be part of a bridge structure in the background, with the mounted horseman atop (possibly General Robert E Lee astride his horse, Traveller), viewing the battlefield, adds depth to this splendid image, snow kidding. Is that a sliver of an ice skating rink down below?

Mark, this amazing looking capture left me literally speechless. As always you selected a beautiful setting that is so well highlighted by the detailed surroundings, like the monument itself and the cool reflections off the water. As always it appears you chose just the right time a day to achieve perfect lighting here.

Superb, Mark, just frickin' gorgeous. It has the feeling of a woodblock, as Claude said, or an architectural render. I don't know how you do this, but it's stunning!

What beautiful, it looks like the tree and the horse have become one, and the contours of all its outstanding styled. I like this result very, very much, Mark.
